QA CONCUSSION EDUCATION

Why is this course being run?

Deadly Sports Plus provides concussion education workshops for anyone in the Australian quidditch community on behalf of Quidditch Australia. As a full contact sport, it is important that all players are aware of the potential dangers of concussions and related head injuries, how to identify them, and what to do in the event of one.

As such, and in the interests of promoting player safety, attendance at the workshop (formally recognised by completing a questionnaire and receiving a certificate) will form part of the team eligibility for QUAFL (where at least one player per team who is attending QUAFL must have completed the workshop in order for that team to be eligible to compete).
